News from Rippey is short this week. With a predicted blizzard and people being ill, it seems everyone hunkered down for a few days. People stopped at the library to stock up on reading material for the upcoming storm, some at the same time, so that was lucky.
A quick trip to the library turned out to be a mini reunion of sorts. It was nice to visit with people I hadn’t seen for a while. It reminded me of an intended quick trip to the grocery store, sometimes! None were looking forward to a storm and all hoped the electricity would stay on. The attendance at church on Sunday indicated that people were ready to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
